الاسم : ناصر بن سليمان بن محمد العمر ، من قبيلة بني خالد القرشية المخزومية المعروفة الميلاد : من مواليد عام 1373هـ الموافق 1952م ، في قرية المريدسية التابعة لمدينة بريدة ، بمنطقة القصيم الدراسة : أنهى دراسته الثانوية عام 1390هـ من معهد الرياض العلمي - أنهى دراسته الجامعية من كلية الشريعة عام 1394 هـ - تم اختياره معيداً في جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية ، بكلية أصول الدين - قسم القرآن وعلومه - حصل على درجة الماجستير من كلية أصول الدين - قسم القرآن وعلومه - عام 1399هـ 1979م - حصل على درجة الدكتوراه من كلية أصول الدين - قسم القرآن وعلومه - عام 1404هـ 1984م - عُين أستاذاً مساعداً ( بروفيسور ) في قسم القرآن وعلومه عام 1404هـ 1984م ، ثم رقي لدرجة أستاذ مشارك عام 1410هـ 1989م ، ثم رقي لدرجة أستاذ عام 1414هـ 1993م المؤلفات والرسائل: عديدة منها.
