ويعتبر كتاب "التعليم المبرمج" الذي نقدمه اليوم، لمؤلفه "موريس دو مونمولان" رائداً في المكتبة العربية لأكثر من سبب: فهو، على صغر حجمه، الأول الذي يعرّف جمهور القراء العرب، بشيء من التفصيل، بهذه التقنية الجديدة، هذا إذا استثنينا بعض الكتيبات التي نشرتها الأونيسكو بإعداد محدودة.
وهو الأول بالعربية الذي يجمع إلى غنى التراث الأميركي في مجال التعليم المبرمج تجارب البلدان الأوروبية، وهو، بإيجاز، طريق التكنولوجية إلى التربية، وطريق التربية إلى مستحدثات هذا العصر.
