الحَمْدُ للهِ الذي قصرتْ عبارةُ البلغاءِ عن الإحاطةِ بمعاني آياتِهِ، وعجزتْ أَلْسُنُ الفصحاءِ عن بيانِ بدائعِ مخلوقاتِهِ، والصلاةُ والسلامُ على خيرِ خَلْقِهِ النبيِّ العربيِّ الأمينِ، الذي أُوتِيَ جوامعَ الكلمِ، وعلى آلِهِ وصحبِهِ مفاتيحِ الحِكَمِ، ومَصابيحِ الظُّلَمِ.
وبعدُ: فعلمُ النَّحْوِ هو أَبُو العلومِ، فإذا كان الأبُ يقومُ على إصلاحِ أولادِهِ، ورعايةِ شؤونِهِم، فإنَّ النَّحْوَ كذلكَ يُصلحُ الكلامَ، ويرعَى شؤونَه، وبدونِ النَّحْوِ فإنَّ فَوضَى الكلامِ سيؤدِّي إلى ضَياعِ المعاني.
وعلمُ النَّحْوِ مِنْ أهمِ العلومِ العربيةِ شَأنًا، وأرفعِهَا منزلةً وأسماها مكانةً، غَيْرَ أنَّ تراثَ علومِ اللغةِ مليءٌ بالعباراتِ العاليةِ الصعبةِ، والتفريعاتِ والخلافاتِ المعقدةِ، مما يجعلُه للمبتدئينَ مطلبًا صعبًا، ومَنْهَلًا وَعْرًا.
لذا أقدِّمُ للمبتدئينَ «البدايةَ في النَّحْوِ»، أحاولُ فيها صياغةَ قواعدِ علمِ النَّحْوِ في صورةِ ضَوابِطَ نَحْوِيَّةٍ.
بطريقةٍ فيها يسرٌ وسهولةٌ، واضحةُ العبارةِ ظاهرةُ الإشارةِ، قصدتُ بها الزُّلْفَى إلى اللهِ تعالى بتيسيرِ فَهْمِ هذا العلمِ على المبتدئينَ، وحتى يكونَ مدخلًا لتَفَهُّمِ العربيةِ التي هي لُغةُ القرآنِ الكريمِ.
واللهَ أسألُ أن يجعلَ هذا العملَ خالصًا لوجهِهِ الكريمِ، وأن ينفعَ به الدارسينَ والدارساتِ، إنه سميعٌ مجيبُ الدعواتِ.
