الأهرامات المصرية الكتاب يمعن في كتابه بمفهوم يعلنه لاول مرة وهو علم الاهرامات ربما كان حجمها الضخم هو سبب إعجاب أحد الزوار، وإتقان عمارتها سبب إعجابها الآخر، وربما كان عمرها الذي بلغ آلاف السنين هو ما أثار إعجاب الثالث، وجمالها الفني وحسن موقعها هو ما أثر في نفس الرابع، وتاريخها وما مر بها من أحداث هو الذي ستأثر بإعجاب الخامس. وإذا ما جاء ذكر أهرام مصر فإن هرم خوفور هرم الجيزة الأكبر، يتبادر إلى الذهن قبل أي هرم آخر، ولكن زائري الآثار يرون كثيراً من الأهرام على حافة الهضبة الواقعة إلى الغرب من مدينة القاهرة، كما يوجد كثير غيرها في مناطق أخرى في البلاد، بل ونرى بعضها في السودان إلى الجنوب من مصر ويبلغ مجموع ما في مصر من أهرام أكثر من سبعين هرماً. وهذا الكتاب لا يتناول أهرام الجيزة فحسي، وإنما يعالج الأهرامات جميعها، وما يوجد منها في جبانة منف وأبي رواش وزاوية العريان، وأبي صير، وغير ذلك من المناطق الأثرية الشهيرة. وهو يعالج معالجة دراية خبير، تقدمها إلى القراء لا باعتبارها مجرد مبان شاهقة، عزت على الزمن، تمثل فناً هندسياً قديماً ضارباً في القدم، وإنما تقدمن كذلك الفكرة التي تكمن وراءها والفلسفة التي تظاهرها في وضوح رائع دون إطالة بعثت السآمة والملل في نفس القارئ غير المتخصص.
