إنّ قضيّة المهديّ شعورٌ فطريّ مرتكزٍ في عمّق الإنسانيّة، حيث إن هذه القضيّة عالميّة وإسلاميّة وشيعيّة، فكل يؤمن بمهديّ يخرج في زمن ما، وإن اختلفت الأسماء، إلاّ أن النظرة الإسلاميّة والشيعيّة بالخصوص، تؤمن بمهديّ موجود بيننا، أخبر به الصادق الأمين (ص)، والأئمّة الأطهار (ع) ، بروايات كثيرة لا يشوبها شك؛ فلذلك كانت قضيّة المهديّ (عج) واقعا وليس خيالاً، وحقيقة وليست أسطورة، وفعل قوّة وليست كسلا وخنوعا وتواكلا، وأملا بمستقبل زاهر ينشّط المؤمنين بالإمام ويدعوهم للسعي والمثابرة للتمهيد له، وانتظاره انتظار العاملين لا انتظار الحالمين.
