وعن أبي الدرداء -رضي الله عنه- أنه قال: قال رسول الله، صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إن العلماء ورثة الأنبياء، وإن الأنبياء لم يورثوا دينارا ولا درهما، إنما ورثوا العلم، فمن أخذه أخذ بحظ وافر" .
وأعلام وشيوخ منطقة جمورة من تلك الطينة ،فقد أفنوا حياتهم في التدريس والتعليم والإصلاح ، وربط الناس بالدين الإسلامي والأخلاق الحميدة. كافحوا وعملوا بجد واجتهاد فوق القدرة والطاقة والاحتمال بهمة ونشاط وإخلاص.
