رواية تسافر بك إلى أرض فلسطين، إلى غزة تحديدا لتعيش مع أبطال الرواية الذين خاضوا تجربة مرة ،وهي الصراع مع العدو والمحاربة للبقاء في أرضهم الأصيلة،
لتذكرنا ببلدنا الذي عنه رحل الكثيرون، ولكن! تركوا قلوبهم هناك .
إذا رحلنا هل نعود؟ و إذا بقينا هل نموت؟
سؤال يخطر على كل فلسطيني حر يصارع ليعيش.
معادلة، لطالما أرهقت الكثيرين وأبكت الملايين،
في هذه الرواية تجد فرح الفتاة التي لم يجدها الفرح، وهي لم تجده في أرض امتلئت بدماء ودموع شعبها، لتعيش يتيمة بعد فقدان عائلتها في حرب غزة لتهرب وتقابل من يحمل مثل همها، في طريقٍ لطالما هرب منه الكثيرون.
رواية...... تحمل الألم ،الخوف ،الحب والحياة، هكذا هي الحياة نعيشها رغما آلامها وفقداننا لمن نحب، نعيش لنبقى أحرار حتى وإن لم نبقى.
