كلما تقدم بي العمر أكثر كلما وجدت نفسي أتشغل بهم قضيتي وشعبي أكثر فأكثر، حتى أصبحت شاغلي في ليلي ونهاري وفي سفري وإقامتي وفي حال العافية وحال المرض، حتى ظننت أنه لا واجب عندي مقدم على واجب الوطن والقضية والشعب.
من هنا أحببت أن أقوم بواجبي وأن تكون لي مساهماتي فيما يتعلق بقضية بلدي وشعبي، ففلسطين بلدي وقضيتها قضيتي وشعبها شعبي، خيرها عائد علي، ونكبتها أنا من المتضررين منها، والقانون الأخلاقي والمسؤولية والدين ومواطنتي، كل ذلك يدعوني ويحثني ويحرضني على أن أعمل ما أقدر عليه تجاه بلدي وقضيتي.
كتاب (إسرائيليات)، هو حصيلة ما كتبت عن دولة إسرائيل من مقالات ومنشورات وأوراق عمل سريعة، وما يتعلق بها من ظروف النشأة وموقفنا منها ومن اليهود وصراعنا معها وموقف العرب والعالم، جمعت ما كتبت في هذا الكتاب ليكون وثيقة بين يدي الأجيال القادمة شاهد على مجريات الأحداث.
وقد سبق هذا الكتاب مجموعة كتب كنت أعددتها وألفتها عن اليهود ومعتقداتهم وشريعتهم.
