أسباب الإرهاب والعنف والتطرف: إن مما ابتليت به الأمة الإسلامية ولشد ما ابتليت به اليوم! قضية العنف والغلو والتطرف التي عصفت زوابعها بأذهان البسطاء من الأمة وجهالها، وافتتن بها أهل الأهواء الذين زاغت قلوبهم عن اتباع الحق فكانت النتيجة الحتمية أن وقع الاختلاف بين أهل الأهواء وافترقوا إلى فرق متنازعة متناحرة همها الأوحد إرغام خصومها على اعتناق آرائها بأي وسيلة كانت، فراح بعضهم يصدر أحكامًا ويفعل إجراما يفجِّرون ويكفِّرون ويعيثون في الأرض فسادا ويظهر فيهم العنف والتطرف إفراطا وتفريطا، ولعمر الله: إنها فتنة عمياء تستوجب التأمل وتستدعي التفكير في الكشف عن جذورها في حياة المسلمين المعاصرين، وهذا يعد من أهم عوامل التخلص من الخلل الذي أثقل كاهل الأمة وأضعف قوتها وفرق كلمتها.
