فقد عُني الإسلام بالإنسان عنايةً فائقة في جميع شئونه، في أمور دينه ودنياه، وفي حال صحته ومرضه، وفقره وغناه، ويُسره وعسره، ونومه ويقظته، وسفره وإقامته، وأكله وشربه، وفرحه وحزنه، فلم يترك صغيرة ولا كبيرة إلاَّ فصَّلها وبيَّنها. وقد رسم لنا النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - بقوله وفعله المعالم التي يسير عليها المؤمن في حياته، وأبان لنا في شخصه الكريم النموذج الذي ينبغي أن يُحتذي، فمن أراد السعادة سار على نهجه وتأدَّب بأدبه. ولَمَّا كان كثيرٌ من الناس في هذه الأيام يجهل هذه الآداب أو يحتاج للتذكير بها؛ كان هذا الكتاب الذي يعرض بعضها بإيجاز.
