ابن القَطَّاع الصقلي (433 - 515 هـ = 1041 - 1121 م)
علي بن جعفر بن علي السعدي، أبو القاسم، المعروف بابن القطاع
• عالم بالأدب واللغة.
• من أبناء الأغالبة السعديين أصحاب المغرب.
• ولد في صقلية. ولما احتلها الفرنج انتقل إلى مصر، فأقام يعلم ولد الأفضل الجمالي. وتوفي بالقاهرة.
له تصانيف، منها:
• «كتاب الأفعال - ط» ثلاثة أجزاء، في اللغة
• «أبنية الأسماء - خ» في دار الكتب (6111) [ثم طُبع]
• «الدرة الخطيرة في المختار من شعر شعراء الجزيرة» أي صقلية
• «لمح الملح» جمع فيه طائفة من شعر الأندلسيين
• «العروض البارع - خ»
• «الشافي في القوافي - خ»
• «أبيات المعاياة - خ»
• «فرائد الشذور وقلائد النحور» أدب
