الحكيم آنى هو كاتب اول الفرعون الملكى ، هو المعلم للكتبة والرسامين والملونين ، أمهر الكتاب هو ابنخ خونسو ، شديد التمرد على الوظيفة ،مفكر وفيلسوف ونصير الفقراء وعاشق للنساء في عموم طيبة ، ولما كان معاديا لثروة وتزمت كهنة معابد امون ، فلقد تدخل والده ، وزوجه (نفر) ابنة الكاهن الأكبر ، حرصاً منه على خونسو .
ابن آنى ، شخصية نبيلة متمردة ،متفلسفة ، متعاطفة مع الأهالي ( الشعب) ، وعاشق للنساء .
وإذا كان ابن آنى ، كالعاصفة ، فان رواية ابن آنى ، تمثل عاصفه في الرواية المعاصرة .
