ولد المهندس عزالدين سلامة في بلدة بديا في الأول من كانون الثاني لعام 1963 م ودرس في مدارسها الابتدائية والثانوية. درس الهندسة الكهربائية تخصص الحاسوب في جامعة اليرموك في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وتخرج في العام 1986 م، عاد إلى فلسطين في نفس العام، وانخرط في العمل الوطني بداية انتفاضة الحجارة المباركة واعتقل عدة مرات.
عمل في لجنة بديا للمياه والكهرباء البديلة للمجلس البلدي حتى منتصف العام 1993 م، ثم عمل في وزارة التعليم العالي مع نهاية عام 1996 م وتدرج في عدة مناصب حتى وصل درجة مدير عام الحاسوب والمعلومات في العام 2007 م
انتخب عضواً للمجلس البلدي في نهاية العام 2004 م وحتى نهاية 2008م
نال درجة الماجستير في بناء المؤسسات والتنمية البشرية من جامعة القدس في العام 2012 م
متزوج وله أربع بنات وولدان.
له كتاب " سوار المعاصم " ، وديوان شذرات قلب، وإبريات مزهرة 1
