ولد في قرية الشين - مركز قطور - محافظة الغربية ( عام 1373 هجرية -1954 ميلادية )
دراسته :
تدرج في مراحل التعليم ، حتى حصل على ليسانس أصول الدين ( قسم الدعوة والثقافة ) من جامعة الأزهر بالقاهرة عام (1977 ميلادية )
وواصل دراسته الجامعية بكلية أصول الدين بالقاهرة
1- حصل على الماجستير عام (1994) ببحث عنوانه ( الحرب والسلام في ضوء سورة محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام )
2- حصل على الدكتوراه عام (1998) ببحث عنوانه ( شيخ الأزهر مصطفى عبد الرازق وجهوده في الدعوة )
عمله :
عمل إماما وخطيبا بأوقاف القاهرة - ثم هاجر إلى الأردن فعمل إماما وخطيبا بوزارة الأوقاف الأردنية لمدة إحدى عشرة سنة - ثم عاد إلى مصر فعمل إماما وخطيبا بوزارة الأوقاف بمسجد النور بقريته الشين ومازال إلى الان.
