غزوة بدر الكبرى وقعت في السنة الثانية من الهجرة بلا اختيار من رسول الله عليه الصلاة والسلام ولا من أصحابه. كانت نصرا مبهرا للإسلام والمسلمين حيث قاتلت الملائكة بجوار المؤمنين بعد أن استجاب الله لنبيه ومده بالمدد. وذُل كبار وعلية قوم الكفر والشرك وأهله وأخزاهم الله فمات منهم أبو جهل على يد ابن عفراء وهما شابان صغيران ومات صناديد المشركين ولحقهم الهوان والصغار، فقتل المسلمين منهم سبعين وأسروا منهم سبعين، وأخذوا الغنائم. وفي التنزيل العزيز سورة الأنفال تتحدث عن هذه الغزوة العظيمة. كان عدد المسلمين 300 ونيف رجلا مقابل 1000 فكأن حالهم حال طالوت ورجاله القلة المؤمنين ولله العزة ولرسوله وللمؤمنين. ففي هذا العمل أحاديث عن هذه الغزة المباركة.
