Le baptême nous a faits porteurs de la parole du Christ, qui rassérène, qui enflamme et apaise les consciences blessées. Pour que le Seigneur agisse en nous et par nous, disons-lui que nous sommes disposés à lutter tous les jours, tout en nous sachant faibles et inutiles, tout en ressentant le poids immense de nos misères et de notre pauvre faiblesse personnelle. Nous devons lui redire que nous avons confiance en lui, en son assistance, et au besoin contre toute espérance, comme Abraham. Nous travaillerons ainsi avec un acharnement renouvelé et nous apprendrons aux hommes à réagir avec sérénité, dépourvus de haine, de méfiance, d’ignorance, d’incompréhension, de pessimisme, car tout est possible à Dieu.
