En primer lugar, identificar la única religión verdadera significa que es para toda la humanidad, en todo el mundo, en todas las épocas, y esto hace necesario que su nombre no esté afiliado con ninguna persona, grupo o lugar en particular, puesto que esos no son principios universales. Así, el Cristianismo toma su nombre de Cristo, el Budismo de Buda, el Judaísmo de la tribu de Judá que era el hijo de Jacob, el Hinduismo está relacionado con el valle del Indo… todas se relacionan con una persona, grupo o ubicación específica y por tanto no pueden ser religiones universales. Es imposible que el Cristianismo sea la religión que fue prescrita por Dios desde el tiempo de Adán, puesto que depende de la existen-cia de Cristo y del final de la línea de profetas judíos. Del mismo modo, el Budismo, una rama del Hinduismo, sólo comenzó a existir con la persona de Buda, que existió en India algún tiempo antes de Cristo.
