من گھڑت اور جعلی احادیث کی بنیادی بدعنوانی قرآن کریم کی تعلیمات اور حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے خلاف جھوٹا جواز ہے۔
حدیث کی جعلی کہانیوں کے برے اثرات کی وجہ سے بہت سے پہلوؤں پر منفی اثر پڑتا ہے جیسے کہ عقیدہ ، مذہبی قانون اور عبادت کا عمل۔
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے متعلق جعلی احادیث کو گھڑنا پہلی صدی ہجری کے وسط میں شروع کیا گیا تھا۔ کوفہ ، عراق ، یمن ، بصرہ ، شام ، خراسان وغیرہ حدیث سازی کے مراکز تھے۔ ہجرہ کی دوسری صدی کے آغاز میں جعلی احادیث گھڑنا عروج پر تھا۔
عراق ، بصرہ ، کوفہ ، بغداد ، شام ، خراسان ، یمن وغیرہ میں ہجری کی دوسری صدی کے آغاز کے بعد سے 6500 سے زائد (چھ ہزار پانچ سو) راوی احادیث کے گھڑنے میں دن رات مصروف تھے۔ مساجد ، گلیوں ، بازاروں ، پارکوں میں جھوٹے لوگوں نے قال قال رسول اللہ کی بلند آوازوں سے لوگوں کو جمع کیا اور پھر من گھڑت احادیث پڑھنا شروع کیں۔
دوسری صدی ہجری کے وسط میں ، ان جھوٹے اور دھوکہ باز محدثوں نے ڈیڑھ لاکھ سے زیادہ من گھڑت احادیث بنائیں جو کہ دن بدن بڑی مقدار میں بڑھ رہی تھیں۔
