Oh hermano creyente... tú que vives en el tiempo de la ocultación y anhelas el amanecer del advenimiento, sabe que la esperanza no es solo un deseo pasajero, sino el espíritu que te da la capacidad de continuar. Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr dice sobre la esencia de este significado:
"¡Qué estrecha sería la vida de no ser por la amplitud de la esperanza! No está oculto para ningún observador que el ser humano sin 'esperanza' es como un ser humano sin 'objetivo', como aquel que come solo por comer y aquel que trabaja solo por trabajar; sin esperanzas no hay continuidad de la vida ni conocimiento de sus buenos resultados".
