وجاء على غلاف كتاب "أرخبيل الفزع كراسة محكيات المعزل"، للكاتب المغربى أنيس الرافعى، كلمة للفنانة الفلسطينية رجاء بكرية: "الكونترباص"... الآلة، جهورية الصوت فى سلسلة الأوركسترا الجنائزية، مفتاح هذه الأوراق التى تحدق بكم ككل المخلوقات التى استعرضها أنيس الرافعى فى أوراقه الأرخبيلية المدهشة، وليس من عادة الأوراق أن تعزف كل هذه الجنائزيات بجماليات عذبة تكسر كم الكآبة والوجع. هل كان يعرف أنه يعزف على آلة لا يعرفها جميع قرائه؟ لا أعرف، لكن ما تأكدت منه أن زيارتها الخاطفة لأحد نصوصه مسرحت صدفَتها غير المحضة. فبرغم مرور العازف الخاطف بين أشلاء الجنائز إلا أنهُ نجح فى نثر معزوفاته وتر شغف. تنقل بخفة كركس متمرس بين كامل الأوراق، طبع لحنه وهرب. يموت هنا البشر، بطرق شتى، ولا ينسوا أن يذيلوا فتنتهم فى طرف لوحات بالغة الرقة والشراسة كأثرٍ حتمى لمرور حادث دهس بالغ القسوة. ينسجون تاريخاً لصور الموت الجديدة التى خرجت بها الجائحة، لكن الموسيقى تعزف دون توقف على وتر الحماس والملل. الضحك، السخرية السوداء، والملهاة بذات التناغم وبلا كلل. فالحلم ينتصر على الموت بتكتيكات لن نصادفها لدى كاتب غيره"
