هناك كلمات قد تكون قصيرة أو أن عدد حروفها قليل إلا أن معناها وما تعنيه كبير جدا، فمثلا: كلمتي "نعم" و "لا" معناهما ودلالتهما كبيرة جدا. فقول "لا" لم يكن أبدا أم ا ر سهلا، إلا أنه من المهم جدا أن تعرف وتدرك متى عليك أن تقول "نعم" ومتي تقول "لا"، وهذا لكي يكون هناك توازن في حياتك، فقولك "نعم" دائما لن يجعل حياتك سعيدة و ا رئعة خالية من المشاكل، ولن يجعل منك شخصا محبوبا وسعيدا. كما أن قولك "نعم" لبعض الأمور يعني أن تقول "لا" لأم ور أخرى، فنحن نقول "نعم" في الكثير من الأحيان لأمور نحن لسنا مضطرين لفعلها ونقول "نعم" لأشياء لا نحب القيام بها، وهذا غالبا ما يكون على حساب أمور أخرى أكثر أهمية بالنسبة لنا، وهذا فقط لأننا لا نريد أن نجرح الآخرين وجعلهم يشعرون بأننا نتخلى عنهم عند حاجتهم إلينا.
