مشواره المهني
خريج كلية التجارة جامعة المنصورة وفيها اشترك بفرقة المسرح، فكان يصمم الديكورات ويخرج المسرحيات ويمثل فيها، حصل على جائزة مستوى الجامعات، عمل في مسرحية بالعربي الفصيح، وبكره .. ودستور يا سيادنا، وحوده كرامه .بدايته المسرح مع الفنان محمد صبحي وقدم مسرحية «بكره» وقد اختاره من خلالها الفنان جلال الشرقاوي للمشاركة في إحدى مسرحياته شاهده المخرج يوسف شاهين في إحدى المسرحيات التي شارك فيها ورشّحه لبطولة فيلم "الاخر" عام 1999 ثم فيلم «المصير»، إلا أن نحافته آنذاك لم تمكّني من أداء البطولة، فرشّحه بعد ذلك لبطولة فيلم «سكوت هنصور»
تزوج من الفنانة ياسمين النجار في عام 2007 إلا أنهما انفصلا بعد فترة ليست بالطويلة مع احتفاظهما بالاحترام المتبادل بينهما
