هذا الكتاب يركز على نشر دروس متسلسلة خاصة بتعليم كيفية إنشاء صفحات الإنترنت، WebPages باستخدام برنامج FrontPage . وفكرة هذه الدروس جاءت نتيجة الحاجة في الحصول على المصادر أو الكتب التعليمية التي يحتاجها الطلاب, بحيث تتناسب مع احتياجاتنا كمستخدمين عرب وباللغة العربية التي نفهمها. فهناك المئات بل الآلاف من الكتب التي نستطيع الحصول منها على ما نريده من معلومات ودروس حول تصميم الصفحات أو أي موضوع آخر وبلغات عديدة. أما الكتب العربية فهي محدودة وتكاد تكون معدومة. لذلك فالهدف من هذا الكتاب هو إضافة خيط صغير في نسيج المكتبة العربية، وتقديم معلومة وافية ومبسطة وباللغة العربية حول هذا الموضوع. وهي موجهة لمن ليس لديهم أي إلمام مسبق باستخدام برنامج FrontPage أو تصميم صفحات الإنترنت. لكن أفترض أن لديك معرفة أساسية وكافية بالتعامل مع نظام Windows وتطبيقاته بشكل عام... أي أنك تعرف ما هو مفهوم المجلدات (أو الأدلة الفرعية) والمسارات والملفات وكيفية حفظها وإعادة فتحها والأسماء الموسعة Extentions ودلالاتها.
