Los nuevos musulmanes deben comprender que es de suma importancia que estudien el Tauhid desde las fuentes del Corán y la Sunnah de acuerdo a la comprensión que tuvieron los Sahaba y los salaf, porque con el sólo hecho de decir la Shahada no se quitan de la cabeza una enorme cantidad de conceptos e ideas que se arrastran del período pre-islámico, ya sea este ateísmo, catolicismo, cristianismo evangélico, testigos de Jehová, seguidores de la nueva era o simplemente autodidactas. Igualmente importante es saber que este tema no puede tomarse de cualquier fuente, porque se corre el peligro de caer en creencias que tienen y predican algunos musulmanes, pero que en realidad son ajenas al Islam.
Este estudio representa un intento para proveer al lector hispano con un análisis en las áreas más importantes de la Ciencia Islámica del Tauhid.
