الحمد لله رب العالمين، والعاقبة للمتقين، ولا عدوان إلا على الظالمين، أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، إله الأولين والآخرين ، ومالك يوم الدين. وأشهد أن محمدا عبد الله ورسوله، أمينه على وحيه، المبعوث بالدين القويم، والمنهج المستقيم، أرسله الله رحمة للعالمين وإمامًا للمتقين .
ذيل مؤلف خطبة عيد الفطر بقوله :
انتهت خطبة عيد الفطر على سبيل الاختصار من الأصل بحمد الله تعالى وحسن عونه ولا حول ولا قوة الا بالله العلي العظيم على يد كاتبها العبد الضعيف محمد الشباح بن بشير بن سي خلف الله الأيوبي اعانه الله على سائر الأقوال والأفعال ووقاه من كل سوء وضلال مرة حياته وغفر له ذنوبه.
11شوال 1314ه، الموافق لــ : 14 مارس 1897م.
