صلاح عباس النجار من مواليد 1949 م / بمدينة دشنا / محافظة قنا . انتقل مع أسرته أوائل الستينيات من القرن الماضي للعيش بمدينة أسوان لعمل والده بالسد العالي . أكمل دراسته الثانوية بمدرسة عباس محمود العقاد الثانوية بأسوان .حصل على بكالوريوس التجارة جامعة أسيوط 1973 م . حصل على دبلوم الثقافة الإسلامية عام 1994 .حصل على ليسانس الدراسات الإسلامية قسم أصول الدين شعبة الحديث الشريف من جامعة الأزهر عام 2002 م .عمل بجامعة أسيوط فرع أسوان ... ثم جامعة جنوب الوادي ، وترقى في الوظيفة العامة حتى وظيفة أمين عام جامعة جنوب الوادي بقنا ـ بدرجة وكيل أول وزارة . أحيل للتقاعد عام 2009 م . الأشعري عقيدةً ( أهل السنة والجماعة) ــ المالكي مذهباً ــ الشاذلي طريقةً . المؤلفات : 1 ـ روائح النسيم من أقوال سيدي أحمد أبو سليم ( مطبوع ) 2 ـ تحقيق : التحرير والتحبير في شرح الحزب الكبير للشاذلي ـ حزب البر للإمام سيدي أبي الحسن الشاذلي ( قدس الله سره) جمع وتأليف الشيخ/ البهي محمد البهي من علماء الثالث عش الهجري .
