الكتاب المقدس في قراءة روجيه غارودي فيه استقراء لمؤلفات هذا المفكر والفيلسوف الفرنسي الثائر على الفكر الغربي وتراثه الديني، للوقوف على أراءه في دراسته النقدية للكتاب المقدس والديانة المسيحية. هذا الكتاب الذي يعتبر مصدرا أساسيا ومؤثر في الفكر الغربي، سواء بالنسبة للمقدسين له وانسياقهم لما جاء فيه أو الرافضين له وانحرافهم المتطرف عنه وازدرائهم لكل ما هو من المقدسات الدينية.
وخلاصة آراء غارودي تقول ان ما ورد في الكتاب المقدس اتخذ مبررا للاستبداد الغربي منذ أن تحول العالم الغربي إلى المسيحية، وما رافق كل ذلك من تبرير للهيمنة والطغيان والحروب الدينية وكثير من الظلم للشعوب والأمم والحضارات الأخرى.
كما ابرز غارودي كيف يتم التبرير للارهاب الصهيوني انطلاقا من نصوص العهد القديم من الكتاب المقدس. وانطلاقا منه يتم كسب التأييد الغربي للكيان الصهيوني المحتل رغم ما يفعله من انتهاك صارخ لحقوق الإنسان وجرائم حرب وابادة جماعية للشعب الفلسطيني، وتهديد لأمن واستقرار إقليمي ودولي.
