لستُ ممن وُلد وفي فمه ملعقة من ذهب، لكنني كافحت كثيرًا لأجل الحب، وقدّمت تضحيات لا تُحصى، لكنها جميعها باءت بالفشل. لم يكن بوسعي سوى أن أكتب ما تبقى من ريحان قلبي، محاربًا به بدلًا من أن أحارب لأجله.
أنا ابن العشرين، وهذا ريحان قلبي بين أيديكم.
