عند فحص الناب والدماء العالقة به، تبين أن صاحبها يعاني نقص حاد في الكالسيوم، إذ لاحظنا وجود تآكل في أجزاء عديدة من الناب، وهذا النوع من التآكل يظهر كثيرًا في الأطفال، نتيجة نقص عنصر الكالسيوم لدى الأم أثناء الحمل، ويستمر مع الطفل مالم يتم علاجه بصورة جيدة.
وما علاقة ذلك بمسار القضية؟
قالها الضابط بنفاد صبر قبل أن يتجاهله الطبيب مكملاً:
الأهم من ذلك والأغرب، أن قطرة الدم التي علقت بالناب من الفصيلة "A"، بينما فصيلة دم المتهم بحسب تقارير المستشفى "o".
إذًا قطرة الدماء تخص الممرضة.
للصدفة، فصيلة دم الممرضة هي "o" أيضًا، حتى الممرضة الأخرى فصيلة دمائها “B”، مما قد يعني أن الناب يخص شخص آخر، قد يكون اشترك في جريمة القتل!!
نظر الضابط إلى الحقيبة التي وضع فيها مساعده شرائط تسجيل الكاميرات وهو يقول:
لم يكن في تسجيلات الكاميرا غير المتهم والممرضات الثلاث، وكل من ظهر عداهم ظهر بعد انتهاء الأمر.
إذًا أعتقد أن في الأمر خدعة ما، لأن الاحتمال الآخر، خارج عن المنطق تمامًا، ولا يمكنني أن أكتبه في تقرير طبي إطلاقًا.
وما هو الاحتمال الذي لا يمكن ذكره في تقارير طبية؟!
