_يا لهذه الحياة، ننغمس فيها بكل ذواتنا وتجرفنا مشاغلها وأحداثها وكأننا خالدون فيها، لا ندرك حقيقة سخافتها إلا حين نقترب كثيراً من الموت فنصبح قاب قوسين أو أدنى. نوقن بأن جزعنا على تفاصيلها الصغيرة حماقة، لم الجزع ما دمنا سنفارق كل شيء بالموت؟.
_صار محتماً علينا نفض ما تراكم على المعتقدات الدينيه من جهل وتعصب، ولن يكون ذلك إلا بوضع الدين في منزلته والعلم في منزلته، وتثمين التلاقي حين يوجد، لا فبركته وفرضه.
نحن لا نقرأ التاريخ، وإذا قرأناه كانت قراءتنا سطحية. لا نعتبر ولا نتعلم الدروس، لذلك تكرر الأمم الأخطاء ذاتها وتتكرر المآسي والنزاعات الخرقاء.
