هذه الرسائل الثلاث يجمعها موضوع واحد، وهو أصولُ الإفتاء في المذهب الحنفي وقواعدُه وآدابه. أولاها: رسالة خاتمة المحقّقين الإمام ابن عابدين الشّامي، المسمّاة «شرح عقود رسم المفتي». ألّف ابنُ عابدين «عقود رسم المفتي» نظمًا أوّلًا، ثمّ شرحها نثرًا، وذكر فيها طبقات المجتهدين وطريقةَ الأخذ بأقوالهم عند الإفتاء.
أمّا الرسالة الثانية فهي: «أجلى الإعلام في أن الفتوى مطلقًا على قول الإمام» يعني أبا حنيفة، وهي من تأليف العلّامة الفقيه الشيخ أحمد رضا خان، ذكر فيها أقوالَ العلماء المختلفة المتعلّقة برسم الإفتاء، ثم وفّق بينها وعلّق عليها مع الترجيح والتوجيه.
وأمّا الرسالة الثالثة فهي: «الفضل الموهبي في معنى إذا صحَّ الحديث فهو مذهبي»، وهي كذلك من تأليف العلّامة الشيخ أحمد رضا خان، أوضح فيها الفرقَ بين صحة الحديث النبوي عند الفقهاء وصحته عند المحدّثين، مؤيِّدًا ما ذهب إليه بالأدلة الشرعية، من الكتاب والسُّنة وأقوال السلف الصالح.
