والكتاب في مباحثه ونتائجه يتجاوز حدود الرد إلى جوانب فقهيةٍ وحديثية وتاريخية، وإلى رؤية كلية للواقع واستشراف للمستقبل، وهو يبرز جانباً مهمّاً من شخصية الكوثري العلمية، ويُظهر قدرته على الجمع بين الفقه والحديث ببراعة.
