كتابٌ في مصطلح الحديث
وهو كتاب «تحفة الأخيار في بيان أقسام الأخبار» للعلّامة المحدِّث الأديب أبي نصر أحمد بن محمد بن المؤيَّد الهَمَذاني المصري (578-655هـ). تكمن أهمية هذا الكتاب في عدة أمور، منها أنه من كتب المصطلح التي أُلّفت قبل «مقدمة ابن الصلاح»، فقد أُلّف سنةَ 601 هجرية. بنى ابن المؤيَّد كتابه على الإيجاز، وأرود فيه خمسة وعشرين نوعًا من أنواع علوم الحديث، منفردًا ببعض الأخبار المسنَدة التي لا تكاد توجد إلا عنده، مُوردًا نصوصًا من كتب وإجازات قد يعسر الوقوف عليها اليوم، مُكثِرًا من إيراد الفوائد والنكات العلمية، مع الكلام على الأحاديث التي استشهد بها تصحيحًا وتضعيفًا، والكلام على الرجال جرحًا وتعديلًا، إلى غير ذلك من جوانب التميز التي تكفّلت مقدمة التحقيق بإلقاء الضوء عليها. ومع أهمية هذا الكتاب ووفرة نُسخه الخطية إلا أنه ظلَّ حبيس خزائن المخطوطات دهرًا، لينهض اليوم بأعباء تحقيقه لأول مرة محققان كريمان، أوفَياه حقّه خدمةً وعناية، واعتمدا في عملهما على خمس نسخ خطية، حتى جاء في هذه الصورة العلمية المتقنة.
