ابتسمت أميرة الكواكب السّبعة "أسيل" وشكرت صديقها "سديم" الّذي لم يتأخّر في الضّغط على أحد الأزرار بجانبه وهو يقول:
ـ لقد حان الوقت كي تقابلي رفاق رحلتك إلى كوكب الأرض، فهل أنت مستعدّة؟
وما أن نطقت “أسيل” بكلمة أجل حتّى دخل الشّابان "نديم" و"تيم" ومعهمـا الشّابة "أماليا" الّتي جلست بالقرب من رفيقتها أميرة الكواكب السّبعة، ملقية التحيّة عليها، بينـمـا جلس الآخران بجانب "رعد".
نظرت أسيل إليهم نظرة لطيفة وعلّقت قائلة:
ـ أنا جدّ مسرورة بلقائكم اليوم، وأتـمنّى أن ننجح في مهمّتنا الوشيكة في كوكب الأرض، فهل أنـتم مستعدّون لهذه المغامرة يا أصدقاء؟
نظر "نديم" إلى "أسيل" مبتسما وقال بكلّ ثقة في النفس:
ـ أنا مستعدّ لكلّ الاحتمالات وسأكون مسرورا بمرافقتك إلى الكوكب الّلعين.
ضحكت "أسيل" وردّت عليه بقولها:
ـ إذا قلت الكوكب الّلعين فإنّ ذلك ينطبق على صاحب القرار هناك في كوكب الأرض، فهو يعتبر نفسه الأقوى والأذكى مهما اختلف اسمه من مكان إلى آخر، وأينما وُجد بأيّ بقعة من بقع الكرة الأرضية التي قسّموها ووضعوا لها الحدود بشكل غريب وغير مفهوم، ولا يقبله أيّ عاقل...
