بابليون
هي رواية تاريخية تتناول فترة هامة من تاريخ مصر و شمال إفريقيا ، و هي فترة نهاية الحكم البيزنطي لمصر و دخول المسلمين فاتحين لها .
و قد تناولت الرواية الظروف و الاحداث التي دارت في تلك الفترة و لكن من زاوية جديدة و هي زاوية أهل مصر أنفسهم الذين عايشوا نهاية عصر و بداية عصر جديد.
كان من الهام في تناول تلك التحديات يتم الحفاظ على الوقائع التاريخية الثابتة دون الإخلال بالبناء الفني للقصة .
