الإنتاج الإعلامي هو فن له مقوماته وسماته وخصائصه التى تتحدد على ضوء العناصر المكونة لعملية الاتصال بشكلها الشامل فالإنتاج الإعلامى عملية كبيرة وعمل مضنى ومرهق ويحتاج إلى وقت وجهد كبيرين , فالمنتج يتحمل كثيرا من المسؤولية اتجاه الجمهور واتجاه المؤسسة الإعلامية التى يتعامل معها وكذلك يتحمل مسؤولية كل العاملين معه فى ذلك الإنتاج ومن جاء هذا الكتاب ويضم بين دفتيه اثنتي عشرة محاضرة ففي المحاضـرة الأولي تم شرح مفهـــوم الإنتــاج الإعلامي وتناولت المحاضـرة الثانية مراحــل الإنتــــاج الإعلامـى والمحاضـرة الثـالثـة شرح مفصل عن الصحف الورقية والصحف الإلكترونية والمحاضرة الرابعة تناولت كيفية إنتاج الصحيفة الورقية وسلطت المحاضرة الخامسة الأضواء علي أنواع الصحف الالكترونية.
وفي المحاضرة السادسة تم شرح كيفية إنتاج الصحيفة الإلكترونية أما المحاضرة السابعة فقد تناولت بالتفصيل إنتاج المجلة والمحاضرة الثامنة تناولت إنتاج الأحبار وآلات الطباعـة وفي المحاضرة التاسعة مقارنة بين الكتاب الورقي والكتاب الالكتروني والمحاضــرة العاشـــرة تناولت كيفية إنتـاج الكتاب الورقى والمحاضرة الحادية عشر شرح مفصل عن كيفية إنتاج الكتاب الالكتروني والمحاضـرة الثانية عشـر فيها شرح بالصور برامج إنتاج الكتب الالكترونية.
