يعتبر هذا الكتاب ثمرة فكرة راودتني خلال تدريسي للمستوى الأول والثاني ابتدائي؛ فقد لاحظت مدى حبّ الأطفال وتعلّقهم بالأناشيد وسرعة حفظها بالمقارنة مع أشياء أخرى، لذلك قرّرت كتابة الأناشيد، وقد كان أوّل نشيد بعنوان ثلوج، إذ كتبت أوّل أبياته في القسم، حيث تساقطت الثلوج يوم الثلاثاء 16 فبراير 2016، ولاحظت مدى حبّهم للثلج حينما كانوا يلعبون به، وقد طلبوا منّي أخذ صور تذكارية لهم، وبذلك فكّرت للحظات معدودة، وكتبت نشيد ثلوج على السّبورة، ثمّ ردّدته مع المتعلّمين الذين تمكّنوا من الحضور بالرغم من قلّة عددهم، وبعدها دوّنوا الأبيات الأولى منه على دفاترهم بطلب منهم، وطبعا استجبت لطلبهم دون أي تردّد لأنّي أحببت كثيرا إعجابهم بالنّشيد ووعدتهم بإتمامه وإدخال تعديلات عليه، وكذا كتابة أناشيد أخرى في المستقبل القريب. وهكذا وفيت بوعدي والحمد للّه وحده، واخترت لكتابي عنوان:”أناشيد الملائكة الصّغار“.
