حصل على درجة الدكتوراه من جامعة شريف هداية الله الإسلامية الحكومية في جاكرتا عام ٢٠٠٧ في مجال الاتصال الإسلامي.
شارك في برنامج الشراكة من أجل المدارس (P4S) في مركز الشرق والغرب في هونولولو، هاواي، عام ٢٠٠٨. وشارك في دورة "دورة إعداد مديرين للعلم العربي لثقيف بها" في جامعة أم القرى، مكة المكرمة، المملكة العربية السعودية، عام ٢٠١٥. وكان مندوبًا إندونيسيًا في مؤتمر "معتمر العلم العالم السعدي للدراسات الطرائق والحضارة" بجامعة قناة السويس، مصر، في الفترة من ١٢ إلى ١٣ مارس ٢٠١٩. كما قام بزيارة تعاونية إلى عدة جامعات في السودان في مارس ٢٠١٩. وكان متحدثًا في الندوة الدولية لدار الفتوى أستراليا، سيدني، في ٣ ديسمبر ٢٠١٩. وكان متحدثًا في مؤتمر المنتدى العلمي الدولي في طرابزون، تركيا، في الفترة من ١١ إلى ١٥ نوفمبر. زيارة لتطوير المدارس وزيارة ثقافية إلى المملكة المتحدة، من ٢٦ أكتوبر إلى ٤ نوفمبر ٢٠٢٢. متحدث في مؤتمر معتمر اللغة الأرهية الدولي الصعب في الشارقة، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، من ١٦ إلى ١٧ يناير ٢٠٢٤، وغيرها.
كما ألّف العديد من الكتب في التفسير والدعوة والتربية.
