يهدف البحث الحالي ، الكشف عن الاضطرابات الانفعالية والعصابية في رسوم الاطفال المعاقين سمعيا ولقد حددت الباحثة الاطفال المعاقين سمعيا في بغداد في معهد الامل والبالغ عددهم ( 142) طفلا وطفلة ، اما اجراءات الدراسة فقد حدد ببناء اداة تشخيصية للكشف عن الاضطرابات الانفعالية والعصابية من خلال الرسم لدى الاطفال المعافين سمعيا ومن خلال الاطلاع على الادبيات السابقة المتعلقة بالموضوع الحالي ، تم صياغة (25) حالة والتي كشفت عنها الدلالات الاكلينيكية لتشخيص الاضطربات الانفعالية والعصابية التي تتضح لدى الاطفال المعافين سمعيا اثناء الرسم ، كما قامت الباحثة بسحب عينة بلغت (30) طفلا وطفلة بواقع (15 ) طفلا من الذكور ، و ( 15 ) طفلا من الاناث ، ولقد قام الباحثان باستخراج معاملات الصدق والثبات للاداة .
وعندما تم تشخيص الاضطرابات لدى الاطفال المعاقين سمعيا ، خضعت البيانات التي حصلت عليها الباحثة من رسوم الاطفال لعمليات التحليل الاحصائي ، وبعد هذا الاجراء ، اظهرت النتائج الى ان الاطفال المعاقين سمعيا يعانون من الاضطرابات الانفعالية والعصابية ، وان اضطراب القلق كان من اكثر الاضطرابات ظهورا لديهم
