أ ـ جبع/قضاء جنين (بلدة ـ ): بلدة عربية تقع في منتصف المسافة بين جنين ونابلس، وتبعد إلى الشرق ن طيق جنين ـ نابلس نحو 2 كم، وتربطها طريق معبدة فرعية بتلك الطريق الرئيسة. كما تربطها طرق فرعية أخرى بالقرى المجاورة، كقرى النقدومية وسيريس وباصيد وبيت إمرين وميثلون وصانور وعنزة وعجة وبرقة.
نشأت جبع فوق رقعة جبلية من مرتفعات نابلس، وتنحدر أراضيها من الجنوب الشرقي نحو الشمال الغربي حيث يجري وادي أبو كسلان في الجهة الشرقية من جبع، ووادي الماجور في الجهة الغربية، ترتفع جبع 500 م فوق سطح البحر، وتمتد أراضيها السهلية إلى الشمال منها. تتألف البلدة من بيوت مبنية من الحجر والإسمنت الطوب. ويتخذ مخططها شكل النجمة، وفيه أربعة أقسام تمثل الحارات الشمالية والوسطى والجنوبية والغربية. وقد ازدادت مساحتها من 42 دونماً عام 1945 إلى 350 دونماً في عام 1980. ويتخذ توسعها العمراني شكل المحاور التي تمتد المباني فيه على جانبي الطرق المتفرعة من البلدة والمتجهة نحو القرى المجاورة.
