ياخؤون الروح.. هالَني من سنة الدنيا احتكاما أين مَن كانوا قعوداً وقياما كم طوتْ تلك الفيافي هيبة في ثراها لملمتْ ناساً عظاما من قبورٍ درّسٍ درسٌ حكيمٌ كن نجيباً تلقَ عِبْراتٍ سجاما هذه الدنيا لِلَاهٍ مغنمٌ فخُها بسّامةٌ تُهدي ابتساما بئس مَن قد كان عبداً للدّنا ألف طوبى للذي فيها إماما لاتكن في عمرك المُهدى ظلاماً كن شروقاً بل حياة كن هماما والبِسِ الأخلاق أثراها ثراء يَمِّنِ الكسبَ وحللهُ مراما وتواضعْ يُكْسِكََ الله إهاباً زلةُ التِيهِ سَتُرديك انهزاما عجباً ممنْ مشى مستكبراً ناسياً عُقباهُ للدّود التهاما راعَني في هذه الدنيا أناس ينظرون الخُلْدَ دأباً مُستداما لا وألفاً ياأخي هذي ممرٌ أَحسِنِ السُكْنى لِدارَيْك استهاما كن حويطاً واحتكمْ مما تراه كَيِسّاً لا تقسُ تَلْقاها مُداما ياخؤون الروح أَرجِعْ نورَها تِيهُكَ الممجوج جلّاها ظلاما
