إنما جمعت ما جمعت من هذه الرسالة وقيدتُ ما قيدتُ؛ تذكرة لنفسي أولاً بحق الله العظيم جل جلالة! وما ينبغي لها إزاءه من العبودية والخضوع، ثم إنقاذاً لها من غفلتها وغفوتها في طريق العمر المحدود؛ سيرا إلى الله جل ذكره وثناؤه. ثم عملت يقينا أنه لا نجاة بأي عمل -مهما كان!- إن لم يكن العبد قد قدم بين يديه فريضة الصلاة كاملة! ثم عرضها على ميزان الله فلم يلفظها! ولم تُرد عليه كسيحة منكسرة! ويكون صاحبها من الخاسرين.
