علي مصطفى مشرفة باشا (22 صفر 1316 هـ / 11 يوليو 1898- 15 يناير1950 م) [1] عالم فيزياء نظرية مصري ،ولد في دمياط، يلقب بأينشتاين العرب لانه ناقش بعض أبحاثه مع ألبرت أينشتاين، تخرج في مدرسة المعلمين العليا 1917، وحصل علي دكتوراه فلسفة العلوم Ph.D من جامعة لندن 1923 ثم كان أول مصري يحصل على درجة دكتوراة العلوم D.Sc من إنجلترا من جامعة لندن 1924،
