باحث مصري في شئون التنمية السياسية والاجتماعية، حاصل على بكالوريوس في العلوم السياسية والإدارة العامة من جامعة القاهرة عام 1997م، كاتب في موقع "بصائر"، عمل سكرتيرًا لتحرير مجلة "القدس" الشهرية، التي كانت تصدر عن "مركز الإعلام العربي" بالقاهرة، وعضو هيئة تحرير دورية "حصاد الفكر" المُحَكَّمة، ويكتب حاليًا في مجلة "كلية الملك خالد العسكرية".
له العديد من الإصدارات في مجال العلوم السياسية، من بينها كتب: "أمتنا بين مرحلتين"، و"دولة على المنحدر"، و"الدولة في العمران في الإسلام"، وإيران وصراع الأصوليات في الشرق الأوسط" وصدرت عن مركز الإعلام العربي، وأخيرًا صدر له كتاب "أسس الحضارة والعمران في القرآن الكريم" في معرض القاهرة الدولي للكتاب 2020م، وله تحت الطبع كتاب بعنوان "الدولة في العالم العربي..

أهمية مقارنة أفكار بن نبي والأنصاري تكمن في أن كليهما يمثل مدرسة فكرية مختلفة؛ حيث بن نبي من مدرسة العقل الحديث، والذي ينطلق من منطلقات إسلامية، بينما الأنصاري أقرب إلى الأفكار ذات الطابع المدني القريبة من العلمانية، وبالرغم من ذلك التباين؛ فقد اتفقا على أن المدنية والمدينية بمعنى التحضُّر والحَضَر، هي من السمات الأصيلة في الإسلام، ولعل أهمية إبراز ذلك الطابع في الإسلام، من بين أهم واجبات الوقت أمام كل العاملين في حقل البحث والفكر الإسلاميَّيْن
