Book Description
زفَرَ الحِصانُ زفرةً عالية، وأمالَ رأسَه على أرضِ الرصيف، وقال: لا يا ولَدي، لم يَعُدْ في العُمرِ بقيةٌ للمَجدِ والعزِّ والسُّلطان! ها أنا ذا أموتُ بعدَ اللفِّ في الشوارعِ وعذابِ السوطِ واللِّجام!» مجموعةٌ قصصيَّةٌ تَتوسَّطُها قصةُ «الحِصانُ الأخضرُ يموتُ على شوارعِ الأسفلت». في هذه القصةِ القصيرة، يَظلُّ الحِصانُ — ذلك الحيوانُ المُستأنَسُ القوي — حبيسَ مَهامِّه اليوميةِ الشاقَّة، يجرُّ عربتَه الثقيلة، ولا يعترضُ على وزنٍ زائد، أو ضربةٍ مُوجِعةٍ بين الحينِ والآخَر، إلى أن تأتيَ الساعةُ التي يَقعُ فيها مَغشيًّا عليهِ وكأنَّه عادَ لِتوِّه من معركةٍ من مَعارِكِ العُصورِ الوسطى. تَتجسَّدُ المُعاناةُ في هذا الحِصانِ الذي أَوْسعَه صاحِبُه ضربًا بعدَ سقوطِه في وسطَ الشارع، ويَجدُ في الْتِفافِ الناسِ حوْلَه لِمُشاهَدةِ ضرباتِ صاحِبِه وهي تَسقطُ فوق جسدِه، فرصةً لن تُعوَّضَ للبَوْحِ بِما كُتِمَ طوالَ عُمرِه وعُمرِ أجدادِه. يَتألَّقُ الدكتورُ «عبد الغفار مكاوي» في هذه المجموعةِ القصصيَّة، التي تَجمعُ بينَ الواقعِ والخَيال، وتَمزجُ بينَ التاريخِ والأسطورة، ونَرى فيها مَلامِحَ الحياةِ المُعاصِرةِ للإنسان.
