«القدرية» من خصائص رؤيتنا منذ أقدم العصور وهي لا تعني الاستسلام للمصير استسلامًا سلبيا خانعًا وفقا للتفسير الضيق بل في كثير من الأحيان تكون شجاعة العمل والصبر والكفاح بل والمغامرة وركوب المخاطر تقع كلها داخل القدرية، ومن أهم عناصر الإيمان بالقدر وبالقضاء المحتوم كما يقول المثل «المكتوب على الجبين لازم تشوفه العين»، ولا يوجد تناقض بين العمل في الحياة بشتى صورها وبين «الأقدار» وما يعبر عنه البعض هو فقط تناقضًا ظاهريًا وهناك مواقف فلسفية تعرف مثل هذا التناقض بين اليأس الكوني وبين حرية الإنسان في تخطيط مصيره، بين القلق الوجودي وبين الاختيار.
