طرفة بن العبد الأعلم الشنتمري - طرفة بن العبد هو شاعر جاهلي بحراني من شعراء المعلقات. وقيل اسمه طرفة بن العبد بن سفيان بن سعد أبو عمرو لُقّب بطَرَفَة، وهو من بني قيس بن ثعلبة من بني بكر بن وائل، ولد حوالي سنة 543 من أبوين شريفين وكان له من نسبه العالي ما يحقق له هذه الشاعرية
