هدف هذه الدراسة هو إلقاء الضوء على العلاقة التبادلية والتأثيرية بين فعل الإنسان من جانب وإحدى الظاهرات الجيومورفولوجية الناتجة عن عمليات الإرساب وهى المراوح الفيضية من جانب أخر, وذلك من خلال دراسة لجيومورفولوجية المراوح الفيضية للمنطقة والتي تضم دراسة للخصائص الجيومورفولوجية والمناخية والمورفومترية لأحواض تصريفها بالإضافة إلى القياسات المورفومترية للمراوح ذاتها وأهم ملامح سطحها وما يحتويه من أشكال جيومورفولوجية, ثم يلي ذلك دراسة للتغيرات التي أحدثها الإنسان فيها أثناء إنشائه لطريق (قفط - القصير) الذي يمر بمجموعة من الأودية ويشق مراوحها الفيضية, ومن هنا يأتي رصد التأثير والتأثر والتغيرات التي أحدثها الطريق في جيومورفولوجية تلك المراوح وأيضا دور المراوح الفيضية أثناء حدوث السيول في التأثير على الطريق, مما يعطى الفكر على كيفية التعامل مع الظاهرات الجيومورفولوجية أثناء استخدام مناطقها للأنشطة البشرية المختلفة, يلي ذلك اقتراح المكان الأمثل للنشاط البشرى والاحتياطات الواجب إتباعها أثناء التعامل مع الظاهرات الجيومورفولوجية التي دائما ما يسقطها الإنسان من حساباته أثناء استخدامه لأشكال سطح الأرض.
