• حصل على البكالوريوس من كلية التجارة بجامعة الملك سعود بالرياض عام 1963.
• تلقى تعليمه العالي في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية فحصل على شهادة الماجستير في الإدارة من جامعة منيسوتا عام 1966، ثم حصل على شهادة الدكتوراه في الإدارة العامة من الجامعة الأمريكية بواشنطن في مطلع عام 1970.
• تدرج في السلك الأكاديمي فحصل على درجة أستاذ عام 1979.
• عمل عميداً لكلية التجارة , وكلية العلوم الاجتماعية , وكلية الدراسات العليا، مستشار في عدة هيئات علمية, وعضو في هيئة تحرير المجلة العربية للإدارة, ومجلة العلوم الاجتماعية.
• له العديد من المؤلفات والدواوين الشعرية.

إن مسألة نكاح المُتعة من المسائل التي كَثُرَ القيل والقال حولها في أيّامنا هذه ، لا سيما بعد تولّي الآيات مقاليد الحكم في إيران ، وإنفاقهم آلاف الملايين في طبع كتب الرافضة كيف لا وهم أقطابها وأبناء جلدتها ؟ وفيها - ضمن ما فيها - الدعوة الصريحة إلى الزِّنا والفاحشة باسم نكاح المتعة ، مسَوّغين ذلك لدواعي الضرورة تارة ، وبحُجّة تدريب الشباب على النكاح تارةً أُخرى واستَغَلّوا هذا الموضوع للطعنِ في أمير المؤمنين الفاروق عمر بن الخطّاب رضي اللّه عنه ، بادعائهم أنه هو الذي حَرَّمها بعد أَن كانت حلالاً في عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه واله وسًلّم ،لكنه وافق في ذلك تحريم رَسول اللّه صلى اللّه عليه واله وسلم لها عامَ خيبر ، كما روى ذلك الإمام علي رضي اللّه عنه في رواية صحيحة ثابتة عند السنة والشيعة !.
