له كتب في الصحافة، والقصة القصيرة، والرواية، والقانون.
أسس مجلة أدبية استمرت قرابة خمسة عشر عاماً : الفصول (1944-1958) وهو من مواليد قرية (فرسيس) محافظة الشرقية سنة 1906.
